As
well as including probably the earliest ever recording of Jadis, the booklet
has also been enhanced with photos, artwork, and track by track notes by Gary
for each song and the bonus material, such as this one for Sleepwalk
- 'The end section was a repeated melody on the guitar, but
once Martin had chosen those dynamic chords and then with the addition of
the bass pedals, the song became very cohesive. It was the first Jadis song
ever to be played on Radio One by Alan Freeman and Tommy Vance.'

Here are some more comments from Gary in December 2004 about the remastering
process :
"Myself
and Rob (Aubrey, our sound engineer) have now finished the remix of 'More
Than Meets The Eye, which was originally released on the GEP label back in
'92
The idea first came about when I mentioned to Rob that I had the original
master tapes for the album under my bed and wondered how long they would last
before the actual tape started to deteriorate.
We took them to a specialist duplicator in London who confirmed that in order
to transfer the music over to Protools files, the tape reels would have to
be baked in an oven for a few days - this process would preserve the oxide.
Once that was done we embarked on the task of of remixing the album. The idea
for re-releasing 'More Than Meets The Eye' was for three reasons, one was
the fact that with the advanced technoloogy we now have at our disposal we
could improve on the overall sound quality of the original, another was to
bring the album back in to the limelight and back into peoples minds again
even if it is for a brief time, I think it deserves to be resurrected, and
lastly it seemed like a good opportunity to finally make available most of
our original demo tapes which were recorded a long time ago.
This bonus material features original versions of songs, many of which have
never been on CD before, and have not been played live for many years. It's
a good opportunity for fans of the band to hear songs such as 'Lost for Words',
'Scratching the Surface', ' Out of Reach' , and 'Don't Keep Me Waiting'. There
is also a rare 4 track original demo of 'Beginning and the End'. This material
also covers several different band lineups. In addition there is an extended
booklet with new artwork, photos, lyrics and track notes."
